Tubino at T2000 in Verona: three devices, one vision

Born as a fruity e-liquid brand, Tubino chose T2000 in Verona to showcase the brand’s evolution: a complete hardware line, designed to meet three usage needs with a coherent design language, a curated accessory set, and a trade show presentation centered on the in-store experience. The dedicated booth marked the brand’s relaunch in hardware, with a clear product family narrative and a guided discovery path for retailers and professionals.

The lineup presented is divided into three devices. Tubino is the “daily” system consisting of pen + powerbank with replaceable cap/pod: the total battery capacity reaches 2200 mAh and the 2 ml pod is available with 0.8 Ω and 1.1 Ω coils, for practical and organized use throughout the day. Aspire Tubino is the “essential” solution: pen-only with a 1200 mAh battery, 3 ml pod, and two impedances to choose from (0.8 Ω and 1.2 Ω), designed for those who prioritize simplicity and battery life in a compact form factor. Tubino Pro completes the family as the “endurance” offering: 2000 mAh battery, 5 ml pod, and 0.6 Ω and 0.8 Ω options to cover extended sessions and less frequent charging needs. Note: pod capacities and some specifications may vary by market and local regulations; TPD requirements apply in the EU.

At the booth, the product story was structured to immediately convey differences and strengths. The “family overview” area introduced the three models with the visual color/icon taxonomy that will be found in point-of-sale materials; the “zone bench” made recharging, cap/pod replacement, and daily accessory management tangible.

The objectives

The T2000 project had four declared objectives. The first was to relaunch Tubino as an integrated ecosystem — not just liquids, but a family of devices with a unified visual identity, simple naming, and coherent accessories. The second concerned offer clarity: three models, three uses, zero overlap, so that retailers can position products on shelves based on real needs rather than marginal differences. Third, to enable the retail network with concrete tools (spec sheets, displays, informational posters, operational micro-guides) for compliance-first selling and a transparent customer journey across pack, leaflet, and in-store materials. Fourth, to listen to the market: collect immediate feedback on ergonomics, battery life, pod and accessory management, to refine production priorities and kits for different channels.

The result

The response at the trade show confirmed the soundness of the path taken. Retailers perceived the logic of the family and the clarity of the three offerings, facilitating assortment selection by channel and clientele. The “hands-on” presentation highlighted the battery life and practicality of the powerbank and replaceable pod solutions, while the pen-only version attracted the interest of those seeking an essential entry device for the counter. The compliance corner made conversations about labels, leaflets, and WEEE disposal more fluid, creating a natural bridge to training materials and post-show support. The most evident benefit was contact qualification: more targeted requests, relevant technical questions, and better order mix forecasting, with a direct impact on sell-in and supply planning. In summary, T2000 transformed Tubino’s hardware relaunch into a network project, where products, display tools, and operational processes travel aligned.

What changes for the retail network

After Verona, the Tubino family enters distribution with coordinated point-of-sale materials: displays with shared visual keys, 18+ signage and WEEE informational posters, lean spec sheets, and a procedure playbook for staff (from pre-shelf verification to counter Q&A). The goal is to simplify staff onboarding and reduce variability between stores, so that the shopping experience remains consistent and informative, regardless of the point of sale.
